Chef Jessie has been cooking up some of the best classic French dishes for a long while now. Just like a classic 1963 Corvette, she never loses her style and blazes past almost all the other restaurants, leaving them in the dust.

“A feeling of stiffness is also very apparent but after a couple glasses of wine and some amazing soufflés, you’ll hardly be reminded that you’re inside a tablecloth-setting restaurant.”

The place in general has a very simple and relaxing atmosphere about it. A feeling of stiffness is also very apparent but after a couple glasses of wine and some amazing soufflés, you’ll hardly be reminded that you’re inside a tablecloth-setting restaurant. Also, the service has always been impeccable. The waiters take your order, jam it inside their head, and then quickly deliver your orders to the kitchen. The kitchen, just like their waiters, is very efficient and consistent with the execution of their dishes.

“She keeps it simple and very down-to-earth but we love it as her flavors will slice you up with a majestic battle axe made out of butter, cream and fat… over and over again.”

We love consuming some of her ridiculously rich soufflés, pasta, and don’t even get me started with their Sea Bass dish. She keeps it simple and very down-to-earth but we love it as her flavors will slice you up with a majestic battle axe made out of butter, cream and fat… over and over again.

It is heavily recommended to reserve if you’re planning to dine here as the place may get packed due to a hefty load of events and parties. While she may not be the hottest restaurant in town, Chef Jessie proves that well-made classic dishes just like her restaurant will always be timeless.

The Breakdown
Beef Carpaccio
The beef tasted very clean with zero hints of metallic flavour. This was perfectly paired with their house bread, a must order.
Steak Tartar
The manlier version of the Beef Carpaccio is the Steak Tartar. If the Beef Carpaccio wasn’t enough for you, then this will surely seal the deal.
Baked Chilean Sea bass in Miso
Probably up there with some of the best Sea bass dishes in Manila. The sweetness of the miso went really well with the tremendously moist Sea Bass. I’d chow on this every day if I could.
Chocolate Souffle
The Chocolate Souffle was tremendously fluffy and rich. If there was chocolate heaven this would be it.
